How to Backup Microsoft OneNote Data on Your PC

OneNote, Microsoft's note-taking application, can be easily backed up to ensure that all of your work is saved to your external hard drive.
You can start backing up your work in a few easy steps to ensure you never lose your painstakingly created OneNote documents.
OneNote periodically creates a backup copy of your work in case something terrible happens.
 
Microsoft's OneNote programme can help you organise all of your most brilliant ideas, notes, and musings.
If your computer crashes severely, you don't want to lose any OneNote documents that you've taken the time to create.
Thankfully, there are steps you can take to make sure you can always recover your work. The best course of action for PC users is to backup their work in OneNote.
 
How to Backup OneNote in PC: 
 
 
  • On the File tab, click.
  • Choosing Options.
  • The location on your computer where notebook backups are stored is shown here.To save and backup, click.
  • (Optional) Change the location of the backup.
  • The save interval can be changed.
  • Change the quantity of backup copies to hold.
  • Select OK.
  • You are informed by the dialogue box that OneNote must be restarted before the changes will take effect.Click OK once more.
  • To close, click.
  • Relaunch OneNote.
    You no longer need to worry about losing your work because the new backup settings have been saved.
