You can add tasks you keep track of in notebooks to Outlook so that they appear in the Tasks folder when working with emails.
Create Outlook Tasks in OneNote
Choose the note you want to assign a task to.
Select Outlook Tasks from the menu.
Set a deadline for the task.
A small flag appears next to the note to indicate that the task has been added.

Open a Task in Outlook
Start Outlook.
On the navigation bar, select Tasks.

Click the OneNote task twice.
Work on the task.

Now, Outlook and OneNote have both been updated with the task.

Delete a Task
Pick the note with the task.
Select Outlook Tasks from the menu.
Decide to delete the Outlook task.
